Fans jammed his Facebook page demanding to know why he quit his popular radio shows 8- 10 with DnG and Keeping It Kenyan on Kiss FM. Rumour mills quickly went round about him throwing tantrums at his bosses before his departure on the grounds he was not given his leave days. But when Pulse reached the celebrated entertainer, he was categorical that the rumours were baseless. “These are idle bloggers with no credibility, they want to make people feel like they were there yet it is all fabricated. I have no issues with Kiss FM as a station or Caroline Mutoko,” he explains.
“I was already done with radio that is why I quit. I wanted to be known and Kiss FM has given me the platform,” he adds. His radio show sparked hot debates when he exposed popular entertainers, leading to tongue lashing, “The Real Talk segment was all about open talk on the real issues.
A case in point is Linda Muthama’s relationship with Nyambane. I did not expose her, I simply asked her a question and she opened up. I did not understand where the story changed and I was the one at fault. When Nyambane questioned me, I asked him to clear it with her, not me. In the MOG case, the chick sent me a text and I gave her the platform. I was not doing it to spite Tony. Rape allegations are serious, if anything it was on public domain,” confirms DnG.
